Dislike Button for IG

Instagram lets you like, but never dislike. Until now. Dislike Button for IG adds a public, shared dislike counter to every Instagram post, right next to the like button. Inspired by the legendary Return YouTube Dislikes, it brings honest, collective feedback back to your feed. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ HOW IT WORKS Install the extension, open Instagram on your browser, and a dislike button instantly appears in the action bar of every post. Click it, the counter updates in real time and is shared with everyone using the extension. The more people join, the more meaningful the numbers become. ✦ WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT - See what the community really thinks, not just the likes - Real-time shared counter across all users - Clean design that blends naturally into Instagram - Light & dark mode support - Available in multiple languages ✦ COMING SOON We're just getting started. On the roadmap: - Dislike support for Reels - Like & dislike counters on profiles - Personal dislike history and stats Have a feature request? Reach out, we're listening. ✦ PRIVACY FIRST, ZERO PERSONAL DATA We built this with privacy as the foundation, not an afterthought: - No account, no login, no sign-up - No name, email, or Instagram username collected - No browsing history tracked - Your identity is a random anonymous ID stored locally in your browser - IP addresses are hashed (SHA-256) and used only to prevent abuse - One-click full data deletion, anytime, GDPR compliant ✦ HOW WE IDENTIFY POSTS The extension only reads the public post URL from your active tab when you choose to vote. It never accesses the Instagram API, never scrapes content, and never automates any action on your behalf. ✦ FREE & INDEPENDENT Completely free, built by an independent developer. No ads, no data selling, no venture capital. If it makes your feed a little more honest, you can support the servers with an optional coffee. ☕ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⚠️ Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram.
