The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Discord Status

Discord Status connects supported activity to Discord desktop through a small local companion app. It runs locally on your computer and does not require an account or remote activity service.
Install both parts
1. Install the Chrome extension.
2. Install the companion app for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
3. Keep Discord desktop open.
4. Open a supported website or desktop app.
5. Choose the activity you want to display.
