Discord Link Redirect

Custom Discord Redirect is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to enhance your workflow by seamlessly opening Discord channel links (like https://discord.com/channels/...) directly in the Discord desktop app, bypassing the web browser. Ideal for users who frequently receive Discord invites or channel URLs in apps like Slack, email, or messaging platforms, this extension eliminates the hassle of loading the web version and ensures a smoother transition to the native app. Key Features: - **Automatic Redirection**: Detects and converts supported Discord URLs to the discord:// protocol for instant app launching. - **Minimal Permissions**: Only accesses tabs and Discord domains—no data collection, tracking, or unnecessary access to your browsing. - **Customizable Behavior**: Easily tweak the source code to add support for invite links (e.g., discord.gg/) or adjust tab handling if needed. - **Privacy-Focused**: No network requests, no analytics—your data stays private. Whether you're a gamer, developer, or community manager juggling multiple tools, this extension saves time and reduces friction. Note: Requires the Discord desktop app to be installed and configured to handle discord:// links. Open-source friendly—fork and modify as you see fit!
