Disable Ctrl + Scroll Zoom — Smooth Scroll Instead

Stop accidental browser zooming when using your mouse wheel while holding Ctrl. This lightweight extension intercepts the Ctrl+Scroll Wheel zoom shortcut and replaces it with smooth, natural page scrolling. How it works • The extension runs silently on every page. • When you hold Ctrl and move your scroll wheel, it blocks the default zoom behavior and smoothly scrolls the page in the direction you intended. • No setup required. • No interface to manage. • It simply works. Who should use it • Professionals using design, development, or productivity tools where Ctrl and scroll are used together. • Users with sensitive mouse wheels or trackpads that trigger unwanted zooming. • Anyone frustrated by sudden, accidental page zoom changes during normal browsing. • Users who prefer consistent, predictable scroll behavior across all websites. Privacy and permissions • This extension does not require any permissions. • It does not read, store, or transmit your browsing data, history, or personal information. • The content script operates using standard browser events with no access to sensitive data.
