The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About DevSwitch
DevSwitch brings the everyday web-testing controls into one Chrome popup: HTTP request header profiles, a cookie editor and a localStorage editor for the site you have open.
HEADERS
• Create profiles for different scenarios (staging, QA, feature flags…) and switch between them in one click.
• Add request headers and turn each one on or off individually.
• A global switch turns every header change off at once, and the toolbar badge shows which profile is active.
• Invalid or duplicated header names are flagged instead of failing silently.
COOKIES
• View, search, create, edit and delete the cookies of the active site, with every attribute: domain, path, expiration, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite.
• Switch a cookie off to remove it from the browser while keeping a local copy, then switch it back on to restore it. If the site recreates it in the meantime, DevSwitch tells you.
STORAGE
• View, search, create, edit and delete the localStorage items of the active site.
• Switch items off and on, just like cookies.
IMPORT & EXPORT
• Import and export header profiles, cookies and storage items as JSON.
PRIVACY
• No account, no backend, no analytics, no remote code.
• Everything is stored on your device with chrome.storage.local and is never synced.
• The headers and cookies you configure reach the sites you visit only as part of the browser's normal requests.
Works on http and https pages; Chrome's internal pages can't be modified. Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with light and dark themes that follow your system.
