DeepFocus brings AI-assisted reminders and classical Chinese poetry to your browsing workflow. When research, reading, coding or study drifts away from your original intention, a gentle reminder can help you return. Describe the situations in which you want a nudge. DeepFocus evaluates the current page against your instructions and presents a short poetry reminder when a scenario matches. It is a focus companion, not an automatic website blocker. CREATE REMINDERS AROUND YOUR OWN WORK • Write reminder instructions in natural language, including when to remind, when not to remind and the poetic mood you prefer. • With the cloud service, save up to 10 scenarios and enable up to 3 at the same time. • Test a scenario against your current webpage and refine the instructions before starting. AI decisions can be imperfect; testing helps you define useful boundaries. • Start or pause reminders explicitly from the sidebar. Dismiss a reminder when needed. DeepFocus does not automatically close tabs or prevent you from visiting websites. READ BEYOND THE QUOTATION Cloud reminders combine scenario matching with poetry retrieval. Open a poem to read the complete work, with original, simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese or automatic display preferences. The self-configured model option uses randomly selected, locally bundled short quotations instead; it does not include the same contextual cloud poetry retrieval experience. CHOOSE YOUR MODEL SERVICE 1. DeepFocus cloud service: sign in and use scenario evaluation, cloud reminder management and supported settings synchronization while your trial or membership entitlement is valid. Check entitlement status, remaining quota and expiry in your account. Available plans, prices, purchasing and service availability are shown on the website/account page. Successful evaluations, including non-matches and webpage tests, count toward the applicable quota. Failed requests and reading complete poems do not consume evaluation quota. 2. Your own model: configure one local focus reminder without signing in to DeepFocus. Connect an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, SiliconFlow or a local Ollama instance. You provide the model configuration and any required API key. Third-party model availability, network access and charges are your responsibility. A locally configured Ollama instance can run inference on your own device. A SIDEBAR FOR YOUR FOCUS WORKFLOW Manage reminders, test the current page, select a model service, adjust theme and reminder presentation, and inspect account entitlement information without leaving your work. Cloud reminders and supported account settings can synchronize across signed-in installations. User-supplied model API keys stay in local extension storage and are excluded from DeepFocus account synchronization. The account page also links to the official website for order and subscription management. Use the same account to view orders, manage an applicable subscription or cancel automatic renewal, and manually refresh entitlements after payment. Canceling renewal is not a refund; purchasing does not automatically start reminders or switch model services. GET STARTED 1. Install DeepFocus and open its sidebar. 2. Choose the cloud service and sign in, or configure your own model endpoint. 3. Write a reminder rule, test it on the current page, then explicitly start reminders. Pause them whenever you want a break. PERMISSIONS AND DATA FLOW While reminders are running, DeepFocus reads the current page title and meta description, not the full page body. In cloud mode, this limited metadata and your scenario instructions are sent to the DeepFocus service and its model provider. With a self-configured model, they are sent to the endpoint you choose; whether they leave your device depends on that endpoint. Avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in reminder instructions. Website access enables this context reading and reminder display. Identity supports explicit sign-in; storage, navigation and sidebar permissions support saved preferences, current-page updates and the control interface. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS The interface is primarily in Simplified Chinese, and the poetry is classical Chinese. Browser-internal pages, extension stores and other restricted pages cannot display injected reminders. Cloud features require network access and valid entitlements; self-configured features require a working model endpoint.
