DeepBreath

DeepBreath adds a calm, one-minute breathing pause before you check out online, so the things you buy are things you actually decided on. Impulse buys happen in seconds. DeepBreath gives you sixty of them back. When you reach a checkout page, a gentle breathing exercise appears: breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4, breathe out for 6. When the minute is up, you choose: continue to checkout, or "Not today." HOW IT WORKS • Recognizes checkout pages on major e-commerce marketplaces and most online shops • Works with modern stores that change pages without reloading • No skip button. The timer only runs while you're on the tab • After you continue, that site stays unlocked for 10 minutes so multi-step checkouts flow through • Turning DeepBreath off takes one breathing exercise too, so it can't be switched off in a weak moment YOUR PACE • Pause length: 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds • Adjustable grace period • Add your own checkout pages, or exclude sites • See today's pauses and how many purchases you've reconsidered PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything stays on your device • No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads • Nothing is collected, sold or sent anywhere CALM AND ACCESSIBLE • Full keyboard support and screen-reader announcements • Respects your system's reduced-motion setting Made by Better Habit Studio.
