The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Deep Tab Search: Search Tab Content
Deep Tab Search is a private tab search extension that lets you search tab content across your open tabs, including words hidden inside each page. Find open tabs by title, URL, headings, or the text inside each page, then jump directly to the right tab and matching passage.
Use Deep Tab Search when you remember a paragraph, identifier, topic, or idea but not which tab contained it. It searches the current browser window by default, with an option to include all open windows.
MAIN FEATURES
- Look inside the content of open tab pages, not only titles and URLs
- Find exact phrases, identifiers, partial words, typos, and related terms
- See highlighted snippets explaining why each result matched
- Jump to the tab and reveal the matching passage on supported pages
- Use optional on-device semantic matching across 100+ languages
- Search inside the current window or every open browser window
- Keep results fresh with automatic background indexing
- Collapse duplicate tabs and filter by site, group, or content type
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Page text, queries, and the local index stay in your browser. Deep Tab search requires no account and does not send page content to the developer. Optional semantic matching downloads an embedding model from Hugging Face that runs locally in browser.
HOW IT WORKS
Deep Tab Search combines full-text keyword matching, BM25 ranking, exact phrases, typo tolerance, synonyms, and optional semantic similarity. Exact words and structured identifiers remain prioritized, while meaning matching helps when a page uses different wording or another language.
