The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Dead Scroll
Dead Scroll doesn't shame you for scrolling. It meets you where you are.
When you've been on a site you've marked for too long, the page dims like a
theater going dark. A few quiet words appear. Then a small game — Fridge Break —
gives your hands something to do while your brain cools down. When it's time,
Dead Scroll sends you back to your life with kindness.
You choose the sites. You choose the threshold. Dead Scroll does the rest.
WHAT YOU GET (FREE):
- Watch up to 2 sites (customize which ones)
- Set your time threshold (5–30 minutes)
- The full intervention experience — dimming, messages, Fridge Break
- Scripture-forward mode (optional toggle — on by default it speaks universally)
- Stats: interventions today, levels completed, tabs closed
PREMIUM ($3.49 one-time):
- Unlimited watched sites
- Extended Fridge Break with shaped food pieces
- Quiet hours scheduling
- Detailed stats + weekly summary
Dead Scroll never collects your data. Never phones home. Your attention is yours.
