Daily English Video Coach

Daily English Video Coach turns YouTube, Bilibili video pages into an immersive English learning workspace. It is the Chrome companion of the DailyUse English learning ecosystem. Use the extension while watching real videos, save the words and sentences that matter, and continue reviewing them on the Web, Windows, or macOS apps with the original learning context. Learn from real video context - Detect and sync subtitles from YouTube, Bilibili video pages. - View a focused subtitle learning panel beside the video. - Replay the current sentence, move between subtitle lines, loop key phrases, or auto-pause after each subtitle. - Rescan subtitles when captions load late or the page updates. - Use native subtitles, live subtitle fallback, and cloud subtitle fetching when available. Build your personal vocabulary from what you actually watch - Look up words instantly while watching. - See pronunciation, definitions, and Chinese meanings. - Listen to words and sentences with speech playback. - Save words together with their original sentence, video title, URL, and timestamp. - Save full sentences as reusable examples for later review. Review with context, not isolated word lists - Every saved word and sentence keeps its source context. - Open the dashboard to review collected words and sentences, export data, clear local items, or sync with the cloud. - The popup shows today’s review count so you know what to study next. Part of a complete multi-platform learning system - Chrome extension: capture words, sentences, subtitles, and video context while watching online videos. - Web app: organize words, sentences, videos, articles, translations, and flashcard decks. Practice with spaced repetition, word cards, sentence cards, shadowing, public decks, progress stats, and global search. - Windows app: use system-level selection translation, screenshot OCR translation, manual input translation, clipboard-assisted translation, hotkeys, preferences, and translation history. - macOS app: use a native menu bar translation panel with selection capture, ScreenCaptureKit + Vision OCR, clipboard fallback, system TTS, provider settings, and cloud translation history. - Cloud account: keep learning data available across devices when signed in, including saved words, sentences, review progress, check-ins, and translation history where supported. Why install it? Most learners watch English videos but lose useful phrases as soon as the video ends. Daily English Video Coach turns that moment into structured learning: 1. Watch content you already care about. 2. Replay and understand each sentence. 3. Look up and save useful words. 4. Collect full sentences with timestamped context. 5. Review later through flashcards, shadowing, articles, desktop translation tools, and cloud-synced study records. Daily English Video Coach is built for learners who want more than passive subtitles: real input, real context, repeatable practice, and a connected study system across browser, web, Windows, and macOS. Note: Subtitle availability may depend on the video site, caption settings, login state, and whether the video provides accessible subtitle tracks.
