The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Cybereinforce Threat Enforcement
Cybereinforce Threat Enforcement closes the browser-enforcement blind spot in Microsoft Defender environments. It blocks threats at full-URL level directly inside the browser, uses the threat intelligence you already rely on, and adds protection that works from the very first visit.
ISO/IEC 27001 certified. The Cybereinforce Threat Enforcement platform is independently certified for the secure design, development, deployment, operation and administration of the service, hosted in Microsoft Azure.
WHY BROWSER-LEVEL ENFORCEMENT
Most phishing, malware delivery and credential theft happens in the browser, and most people browse in Chrome or Edge. Network-level tools see only the domain behind an encrypted connection, not the page, path or query. Cybereinforce enforces on the full URL inside the browser itself. A confirmed threat is blocked outright with a clear block page, and a site that is only suspicious gets a clear warning, so users are protected without being stopped by sites that turn out to be fine.
WHAT YOU GET
Device Code attack protection, on by default
Device Code phishing steals Microsoft 365 sessions without a password, and the resulting sign-in looks like a trusted, registered device to your SOC. The Microsoft device-code sign-in page is blocked in every enrolled browser from day one, for every organisation, with nothing to configure. If you have a legitimate device-code scenario, your administrator can whitelist it.
Protection from day zero
Newly registered domains are blocked across 1,100+ TLDs, so a phishing site that went live minutes ago is stopped before any threat feed has heard of it. Brand-lookalike and phishing-lure detection catches impersonation pages that no list contains yet.
Block or warn: the right response for every site
Confirmed malicious sites are blocked. Sites that are suspicious but not confirmed show a warning page instead: users can go back to safety with one click, or continue at their own risk. Every warning, and every decision to continue, is recorded and can raise an incident in Microsoft Sentinel. Administrators choose Block or Warn per rule, and Microsoft Defender indicators set to Warn are enforced as warnings automatically.
Curated, analyst-reviewed intelligence
Indicators come from our own threat-intelligence team, with a two-person review before anything is published to customers. Every indicator carries a verdict, malicious or suspicious, so users are only ever blocked by confirmed threats. Your own indicators always take priority, and your administrators can add, whitelist or override at any time.
Fast and dependable
Verdicts are checked in real time with automatic retries, so a first visit to a malicious page is blocked, not just the second. Decisions are cached briefly to keep browsing quick, and the extension recovers on its own from network drops and service interruptions.
Explainable blocks
Every block page says what was matched and why, and every block becomes a structured security event your SOC can investigate with confidence. The sensitive parts of a URL (fragments, embedded credentials, token-like parameter values) are removed before events are recorded.
Defender IOC automation
Defender URL and domain indicators are ingested automatically through a Logic App in your own tenant and our API, so the indicators you already maintain are enforced in the browser too. Block indicators block, Warn indicators warn, Allow indicators become exceptions for the right device groups, and your administrators decide what is imported.
Sentinel-ready events
Events land in your own Log Analytics workspace (CybereinforceCTE_CL) for retention and hunting, with ready-made analytics rules and workbooks for Microsoft Sentinel. Direct export is set up with a single Azure deployment, with no secrets to copy, and while it is on, your events live only in your own workspace. Analytics rules also raise incidents when protection quietly stops: a device that no longer checks in, an outdated extension, private windows left unprotected, or an integration that stops delivering.
Easy to deploy and easy to run
Enroll with a one-click link, or roll out to a whole fleet with company policies for Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Group Policy or your Mac management. The policy installs the extension in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox and enrolls it by itself for every user, every profile and every browser on the machine, under the device’s own hostname, so nobody types anything. Private windows stay available and protected. Licence seats are managed automatically: a device that has been away for a long time frees its seat, and takes one again the moment it comes back. A simple status popup shows end users, in plain language, that they are protected.
Your data, in your region
Each organisation is hosted in its own data region, and customer events stay in the customer’s own SIEM storage.
HOW IT WORKS
Defender IOC lists > Logic App in your tenant > Cybereinforce Enforcement API > Browser extension > Block or warning page for the user + a structured security event > Azure Log Analytics > Microsoft Sentinel
Cybereinforce does not replace Microsoft Defender. It completes it where people actually browse.
WHAT’S NEW IN 1.3.1
Warnings for suspicious sites: sites that are suspicious but not confirmed malicious now show a warning page. Users can go back to safety or continue at their own risk; the site is then not flagged again for an hour, and the decision is recorded for your security team.
Enrollment by company policy: Intune, Group Policy, Defender for Endpoint and Mac management can now enroll the extension silently for every user, profile and browser on a device, with no browser launch and no clicks.
Private windows protected: company policy keeps private browsing available while requiring the extension there, and users are shown how to allow it in one click.
Protection health reporting: each device reports whether private windows and all websites are covered, so…
