About CVder Job Clipper
CVder Job Clipper saves job postings to your CVder job tracker.
On a job page, click the icon. The clipper reads the posting (title, company, location and description) and shows it in the popup. From there:
- Save to tracker puts the posting on your CVder tracker, with the job description, so you can follow the application from one place.
- Auto-tailor saves it too and starts a resume tailored to that job, from one of your CVder resumes. It usually takes about a minute, and the tailored CV appears on the job in your tracker.
If a page shows only part of the description, select the description on the page and click the icon again, or paste it into the popup.
It works on job boards and on company career pages that publish standard job data. The keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+C opens the popup.
Getting started
1. Add CVder Job Clipper to Chrome, then pin its icon to the toolbar.
2. Click the icon and choose "Sign in to CVder". Approve the connection once; the extension stays signed in until you disconnect it.
3. On a job page, click the icon.
You need a CVder account (cvder.app). Auto-tailor counts toward your plan's tailored CV allowance; the popup shows how many you have left.
Privacy
- The page is read only when you click the icon.
- What it reads is sent only to cvder.app.
- Nothing runs in the background while you browse.
You can disconnect the extension from its settings page or from your CVder profile at any time.
