The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Custom New Tab URL

Take charge of your Chrome new tab page. Custom New Tab URL instantly opens every new tab on the destination you decide—whether that’s a productivity dashboard, CRM, documentation hub, or your favorite inspiration feed. - One-click setup: Point new tabs at any valid HTTP(S) address. - Keeps address bar focus: behaves exactly like Chrome’s native new tab. Your cursor stays ready to type. - Syncs everywhere: Uses Chrome Sync so your preference follows you to every signed-in device. - Polished fallback: Helpful guidance appears if the saved address is missing or invalid, so you’re never stuck. - Modern options page: Accessible light/dark UI with live validation, status messages, and keyboard-friendly controls. - Privacy first: Stores your chosen URL locally with chrome.storage.sync; nothing is sent to external servers.
