Custom Meeting Reminder

Never miss a meeting again. Custom Meeting Reminder is a Chrome extension that delivers animated, full-screen alerts before every Google Calendar event so your next call actually starts on time. Unlike standard browser notifications that are easy to dismiss or miss entirely, Custom Meeting Reminder sends a bold animated character flying across your screen at your chosen reminder interval. You will see it. You will not forget. How It Works Connect your Google Calendar with one click. The extension reads your upcoming events, and at your chosen lead time — 5, 10, or 15 minutes before each meeting — your selected character animates across the active browser tab displaying the meeting name and countdown. No sound. No pop-up dialogs. Just an unmissable visual that disappears on its own after a few seconds. 12 Animated Reminder Styles Choose the character that fits your personality and switch at any time from the settings page. Current styles include a classic airplane with trailing banner, a charging gorilla carrying a glowing sign, a helicopter with a swinging banner, a galloping cowboy with lasso, a rocket with smoke trail, a stomping T-Rex with a billboard, a sarcastic antihero who pauses mid-screen to point at your reminder, a Viking longship sailing across with a sail banner, a running medieval town crier ringing a bell, a UFO with a tractor beam abducting your reminder card, a speed-racing ostrich with an LED backpack display, and a masked antihero who walks across with a speech bubble. Key Features Google Calendar integration with read-only OAuth access. Reminder timing of 5, 10, or 15 minutes before each meeting. 12 switchable animated characters. Customizable theme color with preset swatches and a full color picker. Reminders can be paused and re-enabled at any time. All processing happens locally in your browser — no data is sent to any external server. Works across all standard browser tabs. Privacy First Custom Meeting Reminder requests read-only calendar access. It does not store, transmit, or share your calendar data. Your event information never leaves your browser. Who This Is For Remote workers and hybrid teams who spend their day in the browser and need a reminder that cuts through the noise. People who frequently miss the standard Google Calendar desktop notification. Anyone who wants a more memorable, personality-driven alternative to generic browser alerts. Setup Takes Under 60 Seconds Install the extension, open settings from the toolbar icon, connect your Google Calendar, choose your reminder timing and animation style, and you are done. The extension runs automatically in the background and handles everything else.
