About Cursu — Job Search Assistant
Cursu — Job Search Assistant helps you move from "found a job" to
"applied" in less than 60 seconds.
ADD A JOB IN ONE CLICK
On a job posting, click the toolbar button (or press the shortcut) and Cursu
reads the posting and adds it to your job list, parsed and ready to tailor a
resume against. You never copy a URL and paste it in. Right-click a job link
to add it without opening the page.
THEN FILL THE APPLICATION
You confirm your contact details once in Cursu. When you open an application
from Cursu on a supported job board, the extension fills the fields it can
match to those details, attaches the resume you approved for that job, and
then stops and hands the form back to you.
WHAT IT FILLS
- First and last name, email, phone
- City, region, country
- LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, and personal site links
- The tailored resume you approved for that job
WHERE IT RUNS
Adding a job works on the page you're viewing when you click — any job
posting. Filling an application works on Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby
application forms, on those companies' own hosted domains, and on the Cursu
app itself so Cursu can tell it which job you opened. It asks for standing
access to nothing else, and it does not ask for permission to.
WHAT LEAVES YOUR BROWSER
Adding a job sends Cursu the page's content, once, only for the page you
clicked Add on. After a fill, the extension reports how the run went: which
job board, how many fields were found, filled, and skipped, and why. Never the
value of a field, never the text of a label, never your resume. Unrecognized
questions are reported as a one-way hash so we can see which fields keep being
missed without being able to read them.
You need a Cursu account to use this extension. Cursu works without it.
