Crumb — recipe cleaner, cookbook & meal planner

You came for a recipe. You got a 1,400-word childhood memoir, four autoplaying videos, and a "jump to recipe" button that doesn't work. Crumb fixes that — and then keeps the good part. CLEAN IT • One click turns any recipe page into just the ingredients and steps • Scale the servings and Crumb recalculates every quantity (halves, thirds, "2–3", ½ ⅓ ¾, all of it) • See calories and protein / carbs / fat when the site publishes them — pulled from the page, never guessed • Dark mode, recipe sections ("For the sauce…"), collapsible steps COOK IT • Cook Mode: full-screen, one big step at a time, with the screen kept awake so it won't sleep mid-recipe • Check off ingredients and steps as you go; peek the ingredient list any time • Copy the ingredients, or print / save a clean, ad-free PDF KEEP IT — your private cookbook • Save any cleaned recipe to a cookbook stored on your own device • Search by name, ingredient, tag, or your own notes; favorite and tag recipes • Add personal notes (tweaks, substitutions) to any recipe • Export and import your whole cookbook as a file, free, any time — your data is yours PLAN IT • Drag recipes onto a 7-day meal planner • Set a daily calorie goal and see each day's total, flagged when you go over • Turn a planned week into one combined, de-duplicated shopping list — copy or print it PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything lives on your device in local storage. No accounts to read your recipes, no analytics, no tracking, no servers collecting your data. Crumb only runs on a page when you click it. (Optional: turn on "auto-suggest" for a small button on recipe pages — that's the only time it asks for broader site access, and it still sends nothing.) FREE vs. PRO Free forever: clean, scale, cook, copy, print, nutrition, export/import, and a cookbook of up to 10 recipes. Crumb Pro (one-time $9.99): an unlimited cookbook and the meal planner. Pay once — no subscription. ON THE ROADMAP • True sync across your devices, with a companion phone app • Hands-free Cook Mode that reads the steps aloud Your recipes stay local until you ever choose to sync. Works on the large majority of recipe sites and blogs (it reads the structured recipe data sites already publish). Hit a page it can't read? One tap reports it so it gets better. Crumb is an independent project, not affiliated with any recipe site.
