CRIMSON PULSE 0.3.0 — MASSIVE UPDATE Your music. Your colors. Your atmosphere. Crimson Pulse transforms audio from YouTube and YouTube Music into reactive visuals inside your video player. Version 0.3.0 brings a massive update with more customization, saved presets, keyboard shortcuts, and new ways to enjoy your favorite visual styles. WHAT’S NEW • Saved presets Choose from four built-in presets or save up to 10 custom presets. Keep your favorite combinations of style, color, audio response, and appearance ready to use. • Adjustable size and position Resize the visualizer from 30% to 100% and place it in the center, top, bottom, left, or right of the player. • More appearance controls Adjust opacity, glow, animation speed, and intensity to create your preferred look. • Favorite styles and automatic rotation Choose your favorite visual styles and rotate between them automatically every 15 seconds, 30 seconds, one minute, or two minutes. • Mini audio meter Enable a subtle audio-reactive meter while the main visualization is hidden and audio is playing. • Keyboard shortcuts During an active session, use Alt+Shift+V to toggle visual visibility and Alt+Shift+N to cycle through favorite styles. Customize these shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. • Separate settings for each site Keep different preferences for YouTube and YouTube Music. Your custom presets can be applied to either site. SEVEN WAYS TO SEE YOUR SOUND Explore Pulse Ring, Sound Waves, Spectrum Bars, Orbit, Spiral, Tunnel, and Particles. Choose your own color and let the visuals respond to the full audio spectrum, bass, mids, or treble. SIMPLE TO USE 1. Play a video on YouTube or a track on YouTube Music. 2. Open Crimson Pulse and click Start visualizer. 3. Close the popup and leave your mouse still. 4. Enjoy the visuals. Move your mouse, scroll, click, or press a key to return to the video. Choose your preferred idle delay or use the on-page fullscreen button for a larger viewing experience. LOCAL AUDIO PROCESSING Audio is analyzed on your device. Crimson Pulse does not record audio, use your microphone, or send audio to a developer server. Settings and presets stay in your browser profile. No account is required. Click Stop visualizer to end audio capture. Hiding the visuals with a shortcut keeps the audio session running. GOOD TO KNOW Crimson Pulse supports desktop YouTube and YouTube Music watch pages, with one active tab session at a time. Shorts and embedded players are not supported. Speech and other tab audio can also drive the visuals. Crimson Pulse does not block advertisements. All features are free. An optional PayPal support link is available inside the extension.
