ContextSnip

ContextSnip — snip anything, ask anything. Stuck with a scanned PDF, a chart buried in a slide, or a table you can't copy-paste? Press a shortcut, drag a box around it, and ContextSnip sends it straight to Gemini — using your own API key — to extract the text and answer your questions about it, right in a side panel that stays open while you browse. How it works 1. Press the shortcut and drag a box around any part of the screen 2. Gemini reads it — text, tables, diagrams, handwriting 3. Ask follow-up questions about what it found, in a real conversation Built for students and researchers No subscription. Bring your own Gemini API key (free tier available from Google), pay once, use forever — instead of another $10-20/month AI tool subscription. Privacy first ContextSnip has no servers of its own. Your captures go straight from your browser to Gemini, using your key. We never see them, and there's no tracking or analytics of any kind. Currently free during our launch period.
