Content Reader — Read the Web in Your Language Content Reader is a Chrome extension that makes webpage content easier to listen to and understand. Select text on any webpage, choose your preferred language, and use Online Voice to listen to the selected content. You can either read the selected text directly or use Translate & read to translate the content before it is spoken. 🔊 Read selected webpage text Select any text on a webpage and click Read selection to listen to it using Online Voice. You can also use the context menu to quickly read selected text. 🌐 Translate & read Want to listen to webpage content in another language? Select the text, choose your language, and click Translate & read. Content Reader translates the selected text and then reads the translated content using Online Voice. 🌍 Multilingual support Content Reader supports a wide range of languages, including: English Bengali Hindi Tamil Telugu Kannada Malayalam Marathi Gujarati Punjabi Odia Assamese German French Spanish Italian Portuguese Japanese Korean Chinese Russian Arabic Language availability depends on the online voice service and internet connection. ⏯️ Pause, resume and stop You have control over playback: Pause — temporarily pause the current reading. Resume — continue from where playback was paused. Stop — immediately stop the current reading. This makes it convenient to listen while reading, researching, studying, or browsing. ⚡ Adjustable reading speed Choose a comfortable reading speed from 0.5× to 2×. Slow down difficult content or increase the speed when listening to longer articles. 🖱️ Easy text selection Simply select text on a webpage and open Content Reader. You can use: Read selection Translate & read Right-click → Read selected text Right-click → Translate & read selected text 🔐 Secure account connection Content Reader uses your Content Reader website account to authorize the extension. The extension does not require a separate extension-specific password. Your website session remains independent from the extension session.
