The Consent Agent was developed through an interdisciplinary research process and is officially recognized under Section 26 TDDDG by the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI). The extension was designed to protect your privacy, not to monitor your browsing behaviour. It does not record clicks, keystrokes, mouse movements, or form entries. It does not create advertising profiles and does not sell user data. The Consent Agent only needs access to web history and user activity to automatically manage your consents. To apply your privacy preferences automatically, Consenter detects supported cookie banners and consent management platforms (CMPs) and communicates your choices to them. The extension stores only the information required to manage your consent settings and does not share this information with third parties. Revenue is generated exclusively by website operators who use our GDPR-compliant cookie banner. The Consent Agent remains completely free of charge for users.
