Connect for Fastmail

Connect for Fastmail adds native Office document previews, email privacy protection, cloud storage integration, and more — all designed to feel like they were always part of native interface. DOCUMENT PREVIEWS Preview .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, and .rtf attachments instantly without leaving your email. No downloads, no new tabs — documents open in a preview panel that matches Fastmail's native look and feel. PRIVACY & SECURITY SUITE (Free for all users) Tracking Pixel Detection & Blocking — Identifies and blocks tracking pixels in marketing emails. A privacy badge shows how many trackers were blocked. Safe Link Preview — Hover over any link to see where it really goes. Tracked redirect URLs are decoded to show the actual destination. Link Protection — Tracked links are resolved through our privacy server so senders never see your IP, browser, or device. Phishing & Malware Alerts — Destinations are checked against security databases. Dangerous links trigger a warning before you visit. PGP/S/MIME Indicator — Emails with PGP signatures or S/MIME certificates display a security indicator. Smart Image Intelligence — Community-powered image classification. Choose from Strict, Smart, Balanced, or Notify protection levels. CLOUD STORAGE Save email attachments directly to Nextcloud and most major cloud storage providers or even your S3 bucket. Attach files from your cloud storage when composing emails. Browse folders with a file picker that matches Fastmail's native interface. PRIVACY-FIRST All privacy features are free — no account required. Link resolution is stateless. Anonymous error reporting and community image intelligence are opt-in. 30-day free trial on all paid plans with full access to every feature.
