WHAT CLOAK DOES • Blocks selected tracker and advertising requests. • Removes supported tracking parameters while preserving the destination. • Reduces selected fingerprinting signals where Chrome permits. • Flags supported countdowns, scarcity language, and repeated checkout pressure locally. • Lets you inspect a local protection receipt. • Offers controls to forget one store's saved browser data. This can sign you out or reset your cart and preferences. HOW TO START 1. Add Cloak to desktop Chrome and open the extension. 2. Follow its setup prompts and grant the site access needed for protection. 3. Browse a supported page and inspect the receipt to see browser-visible actions. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Site access allows Cloak to apply protections on the pages you authorize. Protection processing and receipts stay in your browser. Purchasing, activation and support use separate service data described in our privacy policy. Chrome's disclosures include locally processed data; permission access is not the same as uploading your browsing history. LIMITS Cloak does not make you anonymous, block every tracker, replace a VPN or antivirus, or guarantee a lower price. First-party accounts and server-side systems may still recognize activity. Receipts describe browser-visible changes, not what a merchant did with data on its servers.
