ClipIt

ClipIt helps you learn a new language from the videos you're already watching. Instead of grinding through textbooks or boring apps, you learn from real content - YouTube videos, Netflix shows, K-dramas, whatever you enjoy. ClipIt pulls vocabulary from the subtitles and creates flashcards using actual clips from the video, so you always have context for how words are really used. How it works: Watch any video with subtitles in your target language. ClipIt identifies useful vocabulary and lets you save words as flashcards. Each card includes the video clip where you heard the word, making it easier to remember. Review your cards daily using spaced repetition, and ClipIt handles the scheduling so you review words right before you'd forget them. What you get: - Vocabulary extraction from YouTube and Netflix subtitles - Flashcards with embedded video clips for context - Smart review scheduling that adapts to your memory - Progress tracking and daily streaks to keep you motivated - Support for Korean, Ukrainian, and other languages This is for people who want to learn from real content instead of artificial exercises. If you've ever wished you could just absorb a language by watching shows, this gets you closer to that. To get started, install the extension and create a free account at theclipitapp.com.
