The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ClinicalBuddy
I'm a primary care doctor, and I built this for myself.
In clinic I kept doing the same thing: opening a guideline, scrolling through page after page, trying to find the one line I needed while the patient waited. So I made a tool that reads the page for me.
You open ClinicalBuddy next to the guideline you're on and ask your question, the same way you'd ask a colleague. "When should I refer?" "What are the red flags?" "Does this change if she's pregnant?" A few seconds later you get a short answer, and the lines it came from are boxed on the page so you can see for yourself.
A few things I cared about when I made it:
• If something is urgent, it goes at the top in red. I didn't want the one thing that matters buried in a list.
• Every point links back to the exact line. I don't trust an answer I can't check, and I don't expect you to either.
• You can ask a follow-up about your patient and the answer changes to fit, so you don't have to start again.
• It answers from the page you're reading, not from somewhere random on the internet.
The page text is only used to answer your question. Nothing is shared with advertisers.
It's there to help you find what the guideline says quickly. The clinical decision is still yours.
If something doesn't work, or you'd like it to do something it doesn't, please tell me. I read every message.
