The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About ClickScout

Scout before you click. ClickScout tells you whether a link or email address is safe the moment you hover over it. No clicking, no copy-pasting. A small card pops up showing where a link really goes and a clear verdict: Looks safe, Suspicious or Dangerous. WHAT IT CATCHES • Links that lie: the text says paypal.com, but the link goes somewhere else • Lookalike domains: paypa1.com, rnicrosoft.com, paypal.com.account-verify.xyz • Brand-new domains (most phishing sites are only days old) • Known phishing domains, from an open-source database of 500,000+ domains • Throwaway "burner" email addresses • Sneaky link tricks: fake logins before the @, raw IP addresses, link shorteners, free hosting sites, hidden redirects and risky file downloads • Official-sounding senders on free email accounts, like it.helpdesk.microsoft@gmail.com • Domains with no proper email security (no SPF or DMARC) WORKS EVERYWHERE YOU DO • Hover over links, email addresses and Gmail senders on any website • Sees through Microsoft Safe Links, Proofpoint and other security wrappers to show the real destination • Right-click any link, highlighted text or page and choose "Scout with ClickScout" • Click the toolbar icon to check the page you're on • The toolbar badge warns you about risky pages as you browse • Open a full report showing who owns the domain, when it was registered, its mail setup and every red flag, with one-click lookups on VirusTotal, urlscan, URLhaus and more PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No tracking. No ads. ClickScout runs entirely in your browser. To check a domain's age and owner, it looks up only the domain name (never the full link, your email or page content) using public services. The toolbar badge works completely offline. Built for IT teams, sysadmins, security folks, and anyone who has ever squinted at a link and wondered.
