The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Clearstart New Tab

Clearstart turns your new tab into a clean, at-a-glance dashboard. • Clock and date • Local weather with an interactive sun-arc — sunrise/sunset, hourly temperature, and rain • Your most-visited sites for today and the past week, grouped by domain with expandable sub-pages • A live count of open tabs, plus one-click archiving of stale tabs into organized bookmark folders Everything runs locally in your browser. Weather is fetched anonymously from Open-Meteo — no account, tracking, or analytics.
