The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ClearReadX
ClearReadX - Save X Articles to Notion & Obsidian
ClearReadX extracts long-form X/Twitter Articles, including title, author, body text, images, links, and formatting, then lets you preview and export them to Markdown, Obsidian, or Notion.
It is not a generic reader mode. ClearReadX is a focused knowledge capture tool for X Articles / Twitter Articles.
Key features
1. Built for X Articles
Extract article title, body, author metadata, original link, images, and structure while removing ads, sidebars, and surrounding noise.
2. Preview before saving
Review the clean article view before exporting, so you can confirm the content and formatting are captured correctly.
3. Export to Markdown, Obsidian, or Notion
- Markdown: Download a clean .md file for long-term storage and editing.
- Obsidian: Create Markdown with YAML frontmatter and send it to Obsidian via URI, with file download fallback.
- Notion: After you intentionally connect your Notion integration secret and database id, ClearReadX can create a new Notion page through the Notion API when you click export.
Privacy and permissions
- ClearReadX only extracts content on x.com and twitter.com.
- Your Notion API Key and Database ID are stored locally in your browser with chrome.storage.local.
- Article extraction and Markdown generation run locally in your browser.
- Article content is sent to the Notion API only when you actively click Notion export.
- ClearReadX does not send article content, account information, or browsing history to the developer's server.
- No tracking. No ads. No analytics.
