Open chrome://extensions/, select ChitChat AI, click on Details, and under permissions allow access to the Microphone. 3. Go to any webpage such as ChatGPT. You will see the ChitChat AI settings icon appear in the bottom-left corner. 4. If you have a Deepgram API key, paste it into the settings panel and enable realtime transcription. If you don’t, simply uncheck the box and save your settings. You can get a free Deepgram API key by signing up at [https://console.deepgram.com/signup](https://console.deepgram.com/signup). 5. When you first start using the extension, Chrome will ask for microphone permission. Click Allow. 6. Begin dictating by clicking the microphone button. Your spoken words will appear instantly as text in the input box. 7. Use voice commands like “start” to begin, “stop” to pause, or “clear” to reset the text box. 8. Once you finish dictating, click the polish button to instantly refine the text with better grammar, punctuation, and readability.
