Chatglide – Chat overlay for YouTube

Chatglide shows YouTube live chat on top of the video instead of beside it, so theater mode and fullscreen get their full width back. Read and write chat without the side panel: the video stays big. • Chat right on the video: a clean overlay in the corner of the player, also in fullscreen. • YouTube's chat panel steps aside, so the video uses the whole width. • Chat right from the overlay: a message box with an emoji picker, sent through YouTube's own chat (sign-in required). Show it always or only on hover, and style it. • Profile pictures next to names, if you like, including your own, with an optional "(You)" tag on your messages. • All messages or Top chat: switch right from the overlay header, or always open in all-messages mode. • Replays stay in sync: seeking back or forward in a chat replay updates the overlay. • Disappearing messages: new messages show for a few seconds, then fade away. Keep the newest few on screen, or none. • Entry animations for new messages: fade, slide up, glide in from the side or pop. • Make it yours: overlay or per-message backgrounds, colors, opacity and blur, font size, text shadow, paddings, message time (12- or 24-hour). • Drag it anywhere, resize it from any edge or corner, or snap it to a corner. • You decide where it shows: turn it on or off for a video (player button, popup or Alt+C), set Always or Never per channel, or show it only when you ask. • Auto-hide the header so only the messages stay on screen until you hover. • Settings popup in light and dark theme, with export and import of your settings. • 10 languages: English, Ukrainian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Picks your browser's language automatically. Private by design: no accounts, no tracking, no data leaves your browser. Settings are saved on your device only.
