Chat Trimmer for ChatGPT

Tired of laggy and unresponsive browsers in long coding sessions? Chat Trimmer for ChatGPT helps keep long conversations fast and usable by automatically cleaning up older messages while you chat, as soon as the configured length limit is reached. It is designed for users who work in very long ChatGPT chats and want a smoother, more responsive experience. Instead of letting the page grow heavier and slower over time, the extension reduces visible DOM load locally in the browser. This automatic cleanup happens continuously during long sessions, so the chat stays responsive without needing a manual hard refresh for the trimmer to take effect again. Features: - Automatically trims older messages once the configured chat length is reached - Continues cleaning up during active conversations - Helps reduce DOM load in heavy chats - Keeps the ChatGPT interface smoother and more responsive - Works locally in the browser - Designed for a cleaner and more stable long-chat experience This extension is focused on performance and usability for long ChatGPT sessions. It does not change the core purpose of ChatGPT.
