Cautelio AI

Most people spend 3 seconds reading a contract before signing. Lawyers charge $350/hour to read it properly. Cautelio is the layer in between. Cautelio AI reads any contract you open in Chrome and highlights the clauses that cost people most — IP assignments that hand over your work, non-competes that lock you out of your industry, auto-renewal traps buried in fine print, mandatory arbitration clauses that strip your right to sue. Every flagged clause comes with a plain-English explanation of the risk and a specific suggestion for what to push back on. What it flags: — IP and work-for-hire assignments — Non-compete and non-solicitation clauses — Auto-renewal with short cancellation windows — Broad indemnification language — Mandatory arbitration waivers — One-sided liability caps Works on: — DocuSign — Google Docs — PDFs open in the browser — Any web page with contract text Freelancer mode pays extra attention to ownership clauses — the ones that matter most when your work is your livelihood. Cautelio is not a lawyer and does not give legal advice. For high-stakes contracts, always consult a qualified attorney. For the dozens of routine agreements you sign every year, Cautelio is the review you've been skipping.
