The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Cascade Reading
Cascade Reading turns the article you're reading into Cascade format: each sentence is broken into its meaningful phrases and arranged so that indentation shows how the ideas connect. The structure that good readers work out in their heads is right there on the page, so you read faster and understand more.
Reading changes lives. Cascade changes reading.™
WHAT IT DOES
• One click to Cascade any article, and one click to bring the page back. Use the round Cascade button in the corner of every page, or the toolbar popup.
• Right-click a paragraph and choose "Cascade this paragraph" to see just that text in Cascade, without changing the page.
• Select some text, right-click, and choose "Cascade selection" to Cascade only what you selected.
• Auto-scroll moves the page at a speed you set, so you can keep your hands off the mouse.
MAKE IT YOURS
• Five color themes: Light, Tan, Gray, Black, and Blue.
• Six reader fonts, including Atkinson Hyperlegible and Lexend.
• Text size from 50% to 200%, three indent widths, and alignment lines you can switch off.
• Show or hide the article's images. Ads and embedded players are always removed.
GETTING STARTED
1. Add the extension. A welcome page opens with a sample article you can Cascade right away, no account needed.
2. Sign in with a free Cascade Reading account to Cascade the rest of the web.
3. Open any article and press Cascade.
Works on news sites, essays, research, documentation, and most other pages with article text. It does not work on PDFs or inside Chrome's own pages.
HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED
To build a Cascade, the extension sends the text of the article you choose to Cascade to the Cascade Reading service. Nothing is sent until you press Cascade, and nothing else about your browsing is collected. See the privacy policy at https://cascadereading.com/privacy-policy/
