CanvasNinja – Tab Detection Blocker for Canvas

CanvasNinja adds browser-side privacy controls, saved-answer assistance and AI Answers to supported Canvas quiz pages. FEATURES • Privacy Guard controls selected focus and visibility signals in supported Canvas pages. It does not remove server logs or guarantee that activity is undetectable. • Answer Saver uses available submission history to assist with supported Classic Quiz question types. It depends on the history Canvas makes available. • AI Answers sends question content and answer choices through our backend to OpenAI when used. Responses can be incorrect; review them and follow your institution's rules. • Settings lets you manage feature preferences and toolbar visibility. COMPATIBILITY Canvas can use institutional or custom domains. Support depends on page structure, question type and school configuration. Native New Quizzes toolbar detection is included, but Native Answer Saver and AI parsing are not currently supported. This release is not verified against every live Canvas installation. No guarantee of invisibility, correct answers or institutional approval is made. ACCOUNT AND ACCESS Account sign-in and the applicable plan or entitlement are required for protected features. See the extension and website for current access and pricing. AUTOMATIC COMPATIBILITY REPORTS The extension asks for explicit agreement before automatic reporting. Feature activation requires agreement during a temporary campaign ending October 10, 2026 at 00:00 UTC; afterward reporting is optional. Installing the extension is not consent. Reports are sent only when server collection is enabled for your version. Reports contain bounded structural categories, extension version, compatibility status and coarse timing, plus pseudonymous support and receipt metadata. They exclude raw HTML, question text, answer choices, entered responses, names, grades, page URLs and credentials. Reports and support receipt records expire after 14 days; deduplication digests after 90 days. Reviewed synthetic fixtures remain until deleted. You can withdraw agreement in Settings. The exclusion of question content from compatibility reports does not apply to AI Answers, which separately processes questions.
