Canvas Discussion Reply Tracker

WHAT IT DOES: • Post Status Detection: Automatically checks the thread to verify if you have submitted your initial post ("✔ Post Submitted"). • Reply Counter: Counts your peer replies directly in the header ("Replies: 2/2") so you know when you've met discussion requirements. • 100% Local Execution: Built with pure client-side JavaScript. No external servers, no tracking, and zero data leaves your browser. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Open any Canvas LMS discussion topic. 2. The extension inspects the DOM for your user profile and active thread comments. 3. Your submission and your replies update the top-right header. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS: Requires host permissions strictly for *.instructure.com to inspect discussion elements locally. No user credentials, browsing history, or personal data are ever collected, stored, or transmitted.
