The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About BrowserMate
BrowserMate is a private Chrome new tab extension that brings your favorite websites, Chrome bookmarks, and todo lists into one focused productivity dashboard.
SHORTCUTS THAT STAY ORGANIZED
Build a visual speed dial for the websites you use every day. Add any site, organize shortcuts into custom groups, reorder whole groups or individual tiles with drag and drop, and right-click to edit, copy, open, or remove them. Pin BrowserMate’s toolbar button to save the page you are viewing without leaving it.
YOUR CHROME BOOKMARKS, IN THE SAME VIEW
Use BrowserMate as a clean visual bookmark manager. Show your existing Chrome bookmarks below your shortcut groups, then rename, move, or delete them directly from the new tab page. Changes stay connected to Chrome instead of creating duplicate copies.
LOCAL TODO WORKSPACES BUILT INTO YOUR NEW TAB
Separate personal, work, school, or side-project planning into independent todo workspaces. Each workspace contains its own projects and focused lists for tasks, notes, and useful links. Switch workspaces from the sidebar, resize or collapse it, mark work complete, reorder items, track progress, edit inline, and use Today and Yesterday dividers to keep the timeline readable. Optional voice input lets you capture a task quickly.
DESIGNED FOR YOUR ROUTINE
Choose light, dark, or system theme. Start on your shortcut dashboard or todo workspace. Import or export a local JSON backup whenever you want.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
BrowserMate has no account, analytics, advertising, or backend. Shortcuts, settings, workspaces, and todo data stay in Chrome’s local extension storage on your device. Bookmarks remain in Chrome. Optional voice input uses Chrome’s speech-recognition service; BrowserMate does not store audio.
