The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About BroKnowMyQuietStar – Private GitHub Bookmarks
BKMQS (BroKnowMyQuietStar) is a private bookmarking extension for GitHub users. It adds a “Quiet Star” feature to GitHub repository pages, allowing users to save repositories without creating a public GitHub Star and organize them with tags, notes, search, and filters. Bookmark data is written through the official GitHub API to a private repository selected by the user, without relying on third-party servers. The extension also supports offline operations, multi-device synchronization, conflict resolution, deleted-item recovery, and data export. BKMQS gives users a private bookmark library under their complete control, preventing their public Star list from revealing their interests or becoming cluttered. The extension does not read GitHub cookies and contains no advertising, telemetry, or behavioral tracking. The Fine-grained PAT is stored only in the extension’s local storage and can be restricted to repositories explicitly selected by the user.
