Before, most classes would not even show your overall grade or let you customize your dashboard, now… VISUAL AND DASHBOARD IMPROVEMENTS Custom Themes: Pick a single color, and the color engine will automatically generate a cohesive pastel theme for your entire Brightspace experience. Or just use Dark Mode. Custom Banners & Course Images: Upload your own images to replace default stock photos on course cards and main page banners. GIF's/Animated WebP's supported! GRADES PAGE IMPROVEMENTS What-If Grades: Modify assignment grades locally to see real-time updates to category and overall totals. Visibility: Displays the overall class percentage even if it is hidden by the instructor. Reverse Calculator: Enter a target grade to determine the exact score needed on remaining work to reach that percentage. Placeholder Assignments: Add custom hypothetical assignments for upcoming work or grades from external platforms. Reorganization: Move assignments between categories to adjust how they are weighted. Hide Assignments/Categories: Use the ✕ button to hide individual professor-made assignments or entire categories from your grade calculation. COURSE OPTIONS Custom Grading Scales: Define per-course scales to display letter grades (A, B+, etc.) based on your current percentage to match your syllabus. Profiles and Templates: Save and reload different grade scenarios, or generate shareable codes to give a course structure to a classmate. Permanent Changes: Course structures, categories, and what-if grades are saved permanently until you remove them or click the reset button. Quick Links: A widget on your homepage that saves you some clicks to get to your grade or content page. PRIVACY, SETTINGS, AND SUPPORT Data Persistence: All changes are saved in the browser automatically until manually reset. Hypothetical Toggle: Instantly switch between your hypothetical scenario and the original Brightspace grades at any time. Security: All data remains in your browser, and no grade information is ever sent to external servers. Only anonymous telemetry data (what features are used) is collected.
