About Break the Loop - Browser Extension
Stop Mindless Scrolling. Reclaim Your Focus.
You know the feeling. You open your socials "just for a second" and suddenly 2 hours have vanished.
Break the Loop puts you back in control.
What It Does:
Every time you visit a time-sink website, a calming breathing screen appears. You get 5 seconds to pause, breathe, and ask yourself: "Do I really want to be here right now?"
Then choose: Continue mindfully, or close the tab and reclaim your focus & time.
If you need that dopamine rush and decide to scroll for a bit, that's okay. Our extension will send you nice reminders about the time you spent scrolling.
Why It Works:
- Instant Awareness: Catches you before the scroll begins.
- No Willpower Required: The extension does the heavy lifting.
- Fully Customizable: Choose which sites trigger the pauses.
- Keep track of your time even when you decide to scroll for a bit.
- Privacy First: Zero data collection, everything stays in your browser.
- Install in 30 seconds, feel results immediately
