The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About BoundaryDNS — DNS Security by Boundary Logic Labs
BoundaryDNS is a lightweight browser security extension from Boundary Logic Labs.
It checks top-level website navigations against the BoundaryDNS public resolver before your browser connects. If a domain is known or classified as malicious, phishing, botnet/C2, scam infrastructure, or otherwise blocked by BoundaryDNS policy, the extension redirects the tab to a local block page.
BoundaryDNS does not route your traffic through a proxy or VPN. Page content is not inspected. Only the domain name being visited is checked against the BoundaryDNS endpoint.
Features:
- DNS-layer threat blocking for browser navigation
- Protection against malware, phishing, botnet/C2, scam, and suspicious infrastructure
- Uses the public BoundaryDNS resolver
- No signup required
- No tenant ID required
- No VPN or proxy routing
- Local block page with reason display
- Recent blocked domains shown in the extension popup
- Optional resolver endpoint setting for advanced use
Privacy:
BoundaryDNS sends only the domain name being checked, an anonymous install identifier, and extension version to the BoundaryDNS check endpoint. It does not collect page contents, form inputs, browser history, cookies, passwords, or keystrokes.
BoundaryDNS is built by Boundary Logic Labs.
