The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Bookmarks Organizer
Hundreds of links in one bar, a folder called "New folder (3)", and a site you don't remember saving. Bookmarks Organizer reads your whole bookmark tree and proposes folders that make sense — Technology, Shopping, Learning, News, Finance… — then shows you the complete result before touching a single link.
How it works, in four steps:
1) Your bookmarks now: your tree as it is. Lock any folder or link you want left exactly where it is.
2) Settings & preview: every option shows its effect immediately — folder names in English or Arabic, emoji, folder order, link naming. Reorder folders with arrows and move any link by hand to the folder you want.
3) Sort the unknown: sites we didn't recognize are shown to you, grouped by similarity, so you pick a folder with one click. Your choices are remembered for every run after. This step only appears if you have unknown sites.
4) Review & apply: a picture of your bookmarks after sorting, then one button. By default your own bookmarks are reorganized; you can choose a new folder next to them instead.
How do we know where a link goes? From signals the site owner controls, not guesses: a database of 1,700+ known sites (including banks, government, universities, shops and newspapers across Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and the Arab world), the domain ending (.gov .edu .bank), the subdomain and the URL path. Anything with no signal is never guessed: it is grouped under its own site name or stays in "Unsorted" until you decide. Every link has a "How did we know?" button.
Three layers of protection:
- Preview: nothing changes until you press Apply.
- Restore: one button returns every link to its original folder.
- A backup is saved to your disk automatically before every apply, in the standard HTML format any browser can import — and if the backup fails, the apply stops.
No link is ever deleted — even duplicates are shown to you and removed only if you say so.
After sorting: every new bookmark you save shows a count on the extension icon, and "Sort them now" moves it to its folder. You can make that automatic.
Privacy is structural, not a promise: only two permissions (bookmarks and local storage), and no network connection is even possible — the extension's security policy forbids it. No account, no internet, no tracking; nothing leaves your device. The one optional feature that uses a language model uses the model built into your browser, on your device (Chrome 138+), and the extension works fully without it.
Interface in English and Arabic, light and dark mode, fully keyboard-accessible.
