The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Bookmarklet Script Manager
Bookmarklet Script Manager helps you save and run trusted bookmarklets or custom JavaScript from the browser toolbar.
Add a javascript: bookmarklet or raw JavaScript, or import a public GitHub .js file. Give your script a name, then select it from the extension popup to run it once in the current tab. GitHub imports are saved as local copies and do not update automatically.
Installation guide:
https://tony92151.github.io/bookmarklet-script-manager-market/
Features:
• Save, edit, delete, and reorder your scripts
• Accept bookmarklets and raw JavaScript
• Import a public GitHub .js file when you choose to save it
• See when each saved script was last updated
• Choose from five interface languages: English, Traditional Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese
• Run scripts only after you explicitly select them
• Store script names and source locally in your browser
• No account, sync, analytics, advertising, or cloud backup
“Allow user scripts” is optional. When it is off, the extension tries an alternate execution method that some websites may block. You can test the current page from the popup or enable “Allow user scripts” in the extension details page. Scripts cannot run on browser-internal or other restricted pages.
Custom scripts can read and change the webpage where you run them. Only add and run scripts you trust and understand. Importing from GitHub sends a request to GitHub for the public file you selected. The extension does not send your scripts or browsing data to the developer, but scripts you run may communicate with external services according to their own code.
