Better Bookmarks Bar

Better Bookmarks Bar is a compact bookmarks manager, second bookmark row, and productivity tool built to replace Chrome's native bookmarks bar. Chrome's native layout works fine until you actually use it. Past a handful of links, your bookmark folders spill into a tiny "»" overflow menu, there is no quick search bar, and every link you save requires hunting. Better Bookmarks Bar fixes this. It gives you an independent, favicon-only bookmark bar that functions as a powerful sidekick to your browser. It is a smarter, faster bookmark organizer that stops folder management from being a chore. ★ REGAIN YOUR BROWSER SCREEN SPACE - Favicon-only view by default, or opt for a traditional favicon + title view - Smart drill-down bookmark menu for nested folders, with back buttons and fast arrow-key navigation - Quick-search across your entire library, not just what the current bar shows - Quick-add current tab featuring smart duplicate link detection - Auto-hide feature to save screen real estate, or pin it open with a single click - Custom right-click context menu to open, rename, edit URL, delete, or open-all bookmarks - One-click delete with an instant Undo toast—no jarring confirmation pop-ups - Recently Deleted folder: A durable backup safety net for anything removed via this extension, Chrome's bookmark manager, or a sync hiccup - Drag-and-drop reordering to easily organize bookmarks and file them into folders - Matches your Chrome theme automatically, with manual dark mode and light mode overrides ★ PRO FEATURES: CUSTOM MULTIPLE BOOKMARK BARS A simple one-time purchase unlocks the ability to stack multiple bookmark bars at once. Point each independent bar at a specific folder, assign custom colors, and power up your daily browser productivity while supporting extension development. ★ PRIVACY-FIRST BOOKMARK ORGANIZER Better Bookmarks Bar prioritizes data privacy and has no external backend server. Every bookmark read, write, and modification goes straight through the official Google Chrome Bookmarks API. Your settings sync safely through chrome.storage. The only outbound network call this extension ever makes is to verify a Pro license key via Gumroad, and only when you enter it yourself.
