The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About BaseCloud
BaseCloud connects your CRM to the rest of the web, so you stop saving files
just to upload them again and stop retyping phone numbers.
SEND A FILE WITHOUT DOWNLOADING IT FIRST
Drag a file straight out of BaseCloud — from a client's Files tab, or from an
attachment on a workflow note — and drop it onto another website's upload
area. A courier portal, a signing service, a file converter, a supplier's
form. The file goes across as a real file, exactly as if it had come from
your computer, and nothing is left in your Downloads folder.
CALL A NUMBER YOU FIND ANYWHERE
Click a phone number on any website and a small card appears next to it,
offering to call from BaseCloud. Choose Call and your BaseCloud tab comes
forward with the number ready on the phone. You press Call there — numbers
are never dialled for you. You can also select a number written as plain
text, right-click, and choose "Call with BaseCloud".
WHAT YOU NEED
A BaseCloud account, and BaseCloud open in a tab. On its own this extension
does nothing at all: it has no settings, no account of its own, and nothing
to sign in to.
WHY IT ASKS FOR ACCESS TO ALL WEBSITES
Both features happen on other people's websites, and we can't know in advance
which ones you use. The extension has to notice a file dropped onto a page,
or a phone number clicked on it, wherever you are. It reads nothing else,
and it does nothing on a page until you drop a file or click a number.
PRIVACY
Files are fetched from BaseCloud storage only, handed to the page you dropped
them on, and never kept. Phone numbers go to your own BaseCloud tab and
nowhere else. There is no tracking, no analytics, and no third-party service
involved.
