About Barricade: Website Blocker & Focus

Barricade blocks the websites you tell it to block. Most site blockers cap the free version at a handful of sites, push a subscription, or want an account before you can make a list. Barricade doesn't do any of that. You install it, you block sites, and it stays out of your way. FREE, WITH NO LIMIT - Block as many sites as you want. There is no cap and there never will be. - Daily budgets: give a site 15 minutes a day instead of banning it. When the time is spent, the wall goes up until tomorrow. Free covers 3 sites. - One-click presets: block all social media, video and streaming, news, gambling, or adult sites at once. The lists are built into the extension, nothing is downloaded. - Block the current site in one click from the toolbar. - A short pause before you spend budget time, so it's a decision instead of a reflex. - Start a focus session that can't be paused: 25 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour, or two hours. - See how many attempts were stopped today, this week, and all time. - One click to also run in incognito, so a private window isn't a loophole. - Export your blocklist as a JSON file whenever you like. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your blocklist is stored in your browser and nowhere else. Barricade has no account system and no server of its own, and the extension never reads the content of the pages you visit. The only network activity is the payments library checking Pro purchase status; your blocklist and browsing are never sent anywhere. Full policy: https://barricadehq.com/privacy PRO: $14.99, ONCE One payment, yours forever, not a subscription: - Distraction insights. See which sites actually pull you away, ranked by how compulsively you check them instead of raw time, so the docs site you work in all day doesn't get flagged. Computed on your device, never uploaded, and turning it off deletes the data. - Schedules. Block during the hours you choose, e.g. Mon to Fri, 9:00 to 17:30. - Password lock. Pausing or unblocking requires a password. Set one you don't have memorized and the late-night cave-in gets much harder. Forgot it? A reset takes 24 hours and blocking stays on the whole time. - Strict mode. While a focus session or scheduled window is running, nothing can be paused, unblocked, or loosened. Not even with the password. - Unlimited daily budgets. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds within 14 days, no questions. Email support@barricadehq.com. Built and maintained by one independent developer. This extension will not be sold to a third party.
