The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About AttendX
AttendX — Attendance Target Calculator for ERPs of Campuses
AttendX does one job: it looks at the attendance numbers already displayed on your EduPlus Campus page and tells you exactly where you stand — how many classes you can still miss and stay above your required percentage, or how many you need to attend in a row to climb back above it.
What it actually does
- Reads the attendance data already visible to you on the page — nothing hidden, nothing scraped from anywhere else
- Calculates, per subject, your safe number of classes to miss or the number you need to attend to hit your target
- Runs the moment the page loads — no clicking through a separate calculator, no manual entry
Why install it
If you've ever opened a calculator app or done the percentage math by hand to figure out whether you can skip a class, this replaces that. It's built by a student, for students dealing with the same ERP.
How it handles your data
This part matters more to some users than others, so it's spelled out plainly:
- All calculations happen locally, in your browser. Your attendance numbers, marks, and any other page content are never read, stored, or sent anywhere.
- The only network activity is a small anonymous daily check-in: a randomly generated ID (created on your device, not tied to your name or student ID), the extension version, and the campus subdomain you're using. That's it — used only to see whether the extension still works after campus site updates.
- You're shown a consent prompt on first install, and you can turn this off entirely at any time from the extension's settings.
- Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
Permissions used and why
- Access to `edupluscampus.com` pages — to read the attendance numbers already shown to you and calculate locally
- Local storage — to remember your settings and the random ID mentioned above
- Alarms — to schedule the daily anonymous check-in described above
AttendX is an independent, student-built tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any Campus or ERP
