About Assumer Meeting Recorder

Assumer Meeting Recorder turns every Google Meet call into a ready-made Assumer project — automatically, in the background, while you focus on the conversation. WHAT IT DOES • Live transcript capture — reads Google Meet's built-in captions and keeps a clean, speaker-labeled transcript as the meeting happens. • One-click tab recording — records the meeting's video and audio (with optional microphone mix) directly from your browser tab. • Pick or create a project — search your existing Assumer projects or create a new one right from the extension popup, no need to switch tabs. • Auto-sync to Assumer — while you're recording, the transcript is uploaded to your chosen project's chat every few minutes, so your notes are already inside Assumer before the call even ends. • Auto-stop — recording stops automatically the moment you leave the meeting, so you never forget to hit "Stop." • Secure login — sign in once with your Assumer account; no passwords are ever typed inside the extension itself. WHY USE IT Meetings generate ideas, decisions, and action items that are easy to lose track of. Assumer Meeting Recorder removes the manual step of copying notes into your workspace — your meeting becomes a project the moment the call starts. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a Google Meet call. 2. Click the Assumer icon, log in, and pick (or create) a project. 3. Hit Start Recording — captions are captured and streamed to your Assumer project automatically. 4. When the meeting ends, everything is already saved: transcript in Assumer, recording downloaded locally. PRIVACY Assumer Meeting Recorder only runs on meet.google.com and your own Assumer server. Your transcript and recording are sent only to your Assumer account — nothing is shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details. Built for teams and individuals who use Assumer to turn conversations into action.
