Ask ProfoundSyntax

Ask ProfoundSyntax helps developers turn selected text, code, links, or a webpage source into a reviewable ProfoundSyntax Question draft. Use the toolbar or right-click menu to choose exactly what you want to send. Before anything is transferred, Ask ProfoundSyntax opens an editable review screen so you can inspect, change, or remove the material. When you prepare a draft, the extension securely sends only the material you explicitly approved to ProfoundSyntax. ProfoundSyntax then creates a short-lived draft handoff and opens the normal Question submission page. Nothing is automatically published. You still review the draft, choose required posting fields such as Topic, and manually submit through the normal ProfoundSyntax workflow. Features: • Send selected text or code to a Question draft. • Right-click selected text, links, or the current page. • Review and edit exactly what will be transferred before sending. • Include the source URL and page title when appropriate. • Add Question title and language or technology hints. • Possible-secret detection warns when selected material may contain passwords, API keys, tokens, private keys, or similar credentials. • Explicit confirmation is required before potentially sensitive material can proceed. • ProfoundSyntax sanitizes common tracking and credential-like URL parameters. • Extension keys can be rotated or revoked at any time. Privacy and security: • No persistent content script. • No automatic whole-page body capture. • No analytics or advertising telemetry. • No remote JavaScript execution. • The extension key is stored locally in the browser. • Content is transferred only after an explicit user action. • Nothing is automatically posted to ProfoundSyntax. A ProfoundSyntax account and an Ask ProfoundSyntax extension key are required to prepare drafts.
