About Arth.Find
Arth.Find
The right meaning depends on where you find the word.
Arth.Find is a PDF reader that explains words using the text around them.
Select a word, a phrase, or a full sentence, and the explanation shows up on the page, based on what you're reading. You don't open a new tab and you don't lose your place.
Why we built it
When you look up a word in a PDF, you usually leave the document, search it, and get a generic definition that may have nothing to do with your page.
Take "Silicon." Google will tell you it's a chemical element with atomic number 14. If you're reading about startups, that's useless. You needed "Silicon Valley, the technology hub in California." Arth.Find reads the surrounding passage and gives you that answer, because the right meaning depends on where the word appears.
What it does
Context-aware meanings. Select a word, phrase, or sentence. Arth.Find reads the text around it and explains what it means in your document. An LLM works out what the author intended, and you just see the answer.
Explanations on the page. The meaning appears right where you selected, so there's no copy-pasting and no switching tabs.
Built-in PDF reader. Open a PDF from your computer or paste a supported link. Everything happens inside the reader.
Reading themes. We replaced the plain white and black pages with themes picked to be easy on the eyes, with no harsh glare, so long reading sessions are more comfortable.
Nature wallpapers. Put a forest, water, or light through leaves behind your reading.
Your own backgrounds. Upload any image you like, such as a photo from a trip or a painting, and read on top of it.
What we believe
Reading shouldn't be interrupted. Every tab switch breaks your train of thought.
A word on its own is a guess. A word in its sentence is an answer.
A calm reading space helps you stay with a document longer.
The place you read should feel like yours.
Who it's for
Students, researchers, technical readers, book readers, and anyone who spends real hours inside PDFs.
Arth.Find. Stay in the flow, find the meaning.
