Art from The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Discover a random object from The Met's online collection every time you open a new browser tab. Results are sometimes quirky and often delightful, as you will comb through hundreds of thousands of artworks likely never to be on display. Additionally, put your art-historical wisdom to the test with a quiz feature. You can also filter results based on a number of themes, such as "cats", "architecture", "geometric patterns", "dragons", and many more! Please Note: This extension is not created or endorsed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Artwork is randomly drawn from the Met's collection and may therefore very occasionally contain depictions of nudity.
