About Are they grabbing my IP
Are they grabbing my IP helps you understand whether a website loads known browser-side visitor-identification, company-identification, or IP-enrichment services. It also blocks requests to a focused list of known IP lookup and IP-enrichment endpoints by default, before those requests are sent. The user can switch protection off globally or allow it on a chosen website in the popup.
Open the extension while visiting a website to view any matching activity, its detection confidence, and the resource or script evidence that triggered the match. It recognizes browser-visible signatures for visitor identification, company identification, IP lookup, and IP enrichment.
All detection and blocking happens locally in your browser. The extension does not send browsing data, IP addresses, page contents, or detection results to any server. Cloudflare and CAPTCHA providers are not blocked. A website or its network provider can still see the IP address used to connect to it; use a VPN or proxy if you need to hide that address from the destination.
Important: a result means that a known browser-side signature was found. No result does not prove that a website does not log an IP address or perform identification on its own server.
